Hello Lucie,
you will be happy to learn that Peter Laviolette has acadian ancestry ! He descends from Adelaide Cormier, daughter of Jean-Francois Cormier and Marie-Josephe Cyr, who married Francois Amiel dit Lusignan in 1781 at St.Ours. Their daughter Marie-Louise married Jean Chapdelaine dit Lariviere. Their daughter Marguerite Chapdelaine married Hippolyte Laviolette. Their son Louis Laviolette married Delia Sicard.
